AIM OF THE STUDY: The aim of the study is the evaluation of a sebum normalizing efficacy of ALPS ANTIOXIDANT CREAM on 20 volunteers having oily or acne-prone skin.
METHOD: Each volunteer was asked to apply the product on the entire face, once a day for all the duration of the test, suspending the application of any other topical product in the 7 days prior to the test. Evaluation of the 20 volunteers was done before the test, after 10 days of application and after 30 days of application.
MEASUREMENTS
•Cutaneous homogeneity was analyzed using FrameScan
•Sebum amount was measured with a specific tool Sebumeter®
•Clinical evaluation performed by a dermatologist using the Global Acne Grading System.
•Satisfaction questionnaire. After 30 days, each volunteer was asked to answer a self-assessment questionnaire.
The graph shows the average % of variation of cutaneous homogeneity detected after 10 days and after 30 days of treatment.
We can see an increase of 15% of the skin homogeneity after 30 days of application.

We can see a decrease of 36.2% of the amount of sebum after 30 days of application.
